lol very funny i was told by the dealer that the computer does not let you **** the car up in the break in period and that the boost would be down alittle untill it broke in. i live in bellmore by the way

Put our stage 2 on at 75 milea and was at the track the next night trashing it for 3 hours and it had full boost then. I guess the east coast dealers have a boost limiter on new cars.

2 things altitude and the guage,

the altitude will through it off

and the stock gauges suck! when I swaped mine out I have a 2.6 pulley and it said I was making like 17 PSI now it reads 19 or so in the same waether conditions of course.

DAMMIT...someone beat me to the comment about the accuracy of the gauge. The gauge could be screwed, so too could be the sender or sensor or whatever is passing the boost level on to the gauge to be displayed.

It amazes me some of the bone-headed things that people at dealers say. Maybe that was his roundabout way to discourage bagging the car for the first thousand miles due to there being a recommended break-in period for the car as per the owners manual...I don't know. Maybe the guy was just plain stupid.
