Another EFR/ZFR Down
Lars i think 29psi is way too much for this turbo and that probably killed it. Just curious, what was your maf lb/min @ 29psi?
I dont see why 29psi was to much it was still not flowing 49lbs on 29 from what i remember.
I wanted to crank it over 30 if possible just never got there.
Now keep in mind people my post does say ZFR and thats technically wrong. I called it a ZFR cause it was converted to be that.
THis is technically the first EFR out then eventually converted.
Its a great turbo but at 29psi it did not give me what i want or scare me one bit. Maybe i have issues not sure.
ANd yes the compressor wheel is pretty much stuck hard to turn with massive amount of up and down play in it.

Would have loved to know numbers on E85.
New Precision 6262 Turbo
I don't know this guy, but found this on craigslist in Dallas while browsing, selling a new Precision 6262 for $999. Good luck on the next turbo, crazy that the efr wasn't enough lol

From what i have heard the people that send them in get nothing done. THey offer them a rebuilt one for 1300 ish. THere are no rebuild kits for these either.
There was a second revision put out. Like i stated before i got this EFR the first two weeks they were released and then later had the ZZP exhaust housing done.
It is what is is.
