debating on whether to go with a catted downpipe or non-catted downpipe. i know the power differences and flow differences between the two but what i dont know is how the exhaust sounds w/o a catalytic converter. i will be retaining my stock catback for now and im wondering if no converter will make everything sound like **** (ie: high pitched popping and loud raspyness)

 

I got the pacesetter, 2.5" catless, stock exhaust. It sounds good, with the exception of little leaks under load. Very quite on the freeway.

 

From my experience a catless exhaust on these cars sounds like ass.

i know its all a matter of personal preference in the sounds... but i am one who thinks 4 bangers should be seen rather than heard... or alteast seen before they are heard
i have had people tell me to listen to someones ss/sc exhaust because everyone thinks it sounds soo good and when i hear it im like that sounds like ass, and its just a magnaflow muffler, or even a GMP catback
im kinda hoping for an SRT-4 sound but minus the excessive popping. i know... wishful thinking
