Another noob question

Ok so our cars have 205HP base. Now with the supercharger pumping in lets say 6PSI when driving it wouldnt our technically be running at 265HP? because do you take the base engine HP and add the PSI from FI and that is how much HP were running at that time?

that horsepower was already determined with the boost in mind......it's not like they forgot they put a supercharger on the car

Being that the 205 hp = engine power - power needed to drive the blower, we may be closer to 265...especially with our stock 215 dynos.

If that...with the 2.2 making 145 hp, the 2.0 is less displacement, and I believe also less compression because it's built for f/i. It'd be like taking 3 legs off a dog and asking it to play fetch.

WoW. Thats terrible. A 80HP engine. Why couldn't they have just made it a 205HP engine base, then add a supercharger. Now i know for sure that if they do add superchargers to 2.4's and the engine can handle it, there gonna be pushin out like 300hp+ at least!
