just got my injen mr intake in. putting it on this weekend. have anyone had any problems with the intake after the install. should i buy the hydrashield or not. i know it says not to drive the car when it rains. so whats the deal with the rain thing. any help would be appreciated.

 

when i had my 2.4 i drove all the time in the rain with my injen and had no problems. this time around i bought a hydrashield to just be extra safe.

 

I just recently installed the new revised version of the Injen and works great... knock on wood. As far as ran, my car only sees the dry weather. But u shouldnt need the hydo shield really, I mean look at where the filter is, and the only way its gonna hydrolock ur engine is if it is completely submergerd in water.
