I just saw this at Cobalt-Addiction.com. Anyone have anything good or bad to say on it. I am looking to get it, but I want to know if it is worth it or if you know of a better setup. I currently have stage 2 GM with Fujita intake and that's it so far, but I figure I need a lot more power so that these damn 350Z's will leave me the hell alone! ;0

id move up to a 2.6 or 2.7 pulley, 2.5s are just too much heat to be reliable, consider also getting a co2/nitrous intercooler sprayer, your going to need it

have fun blowing up your engine if you get that setup, you will need exhaust mods also.

Ahhh, that's the information that I need. But please explain why this would blow up my engine? And what could be done to prevent it? I figure I need to build an additional 100 HP for me to be completely content with my cobalt's power... and this would put me pretty close if I upgraded other things like the flywheel, headers, exhaust, and a few other things like that.

Or is there a more intelligent alternative to this stage 6 kit?

Well, imo I think building the LSJ engine from the ground up before throwing small pullies on the stock blower and going with some extra major hp, like 100 more is a must first. Maybe I'm just old fasion and always go with the safe way. Good luck no matter what you choose.-

No that's not old fashion. The bottom end, aside from the crank could use an upgrade before that kit. Also, I would feel it a waste to put that kind of kit on and not at least get a mild P&P and a specific cam grind.

Header and full 3" exhaust ,Zex spk plugs.Don't bother with a intercooler sprayer .(They don't work very well on water to air coolers.) You are going to run water/meth. injection.
