Also, the filter is soaked.. I can wring water out of it by squeezing it.

Everything is in place and properly installed. AEM will be receiving a phone call and I'll be getting a new MAF (at my own expense, AEM's warranty is **** and says it will not cover the damage to the MAF )

**** AEM, I'll never use another one of their products.
Any CAI filter is going to get wet when you drive threw a monsoon , the difference is the cotton dryflow filter sucks water up like a sponge. Get a hydro shield or a K&N filter to replace it with. Any cai will have a wet filter if theres enough water .

I've driven in rain, snow, etc. for the past year and a half with my AEM dryflow and no issues. You can't be a moron and go splashing through puddles and what not with it. The filter will get damp but I pulled my MAF off for the first time since I bought the car and it didn't have a hint of dirt or water on it. I am also running the airbox mod, so maybe that extra plastic around the filter helps out.

Yessir....Got rid of AEM, went to K&N and got a hydroshield. No problems since.
