Wait a sec, you're a dealership tech and you're asking what to do for a camshaft install?

Don't quote me on this, but I think the 2.2 cars have one cam shorter than the other and the 2.0 is supposed to be equal. Like I said, don't quote that.

Agreed. Peg, don't take these the wrong way, but when (IF) i take my car to a dealership and pay them lots of money, i expect the people working on it to KNOW WHAT THEY ARE DOING and TO DO IT RIGHT!

The ecotec cams from GM are for the 2.2. You need two intake cam blanks (I am pretty sure thats the longer one) for the SS/SC. If you do a search and sift through the results you should find some better answers. In short you need to find a vendor with cams for the SS/SC (lsj) specifically or buy two intake blanks and have someone grind them for you.

Instead of mocking the guy maybe you guy could actually answer the question huh?!

JBP makes some cams, but beware of the cam shaft out of phase CEL.

He just stated that they don't fit and the exhaust cam is too short. This is the 3rd post where I have read this same story.

gm and gmpp is 2 different vendors we dont have info on the installation of aftermarket that gmpp has... it looks like the cam will fit a 2.2 cause it doesnt use a cam sensor on the cam shaft... so thats y were wondering, if itwas a stock cam were installing no issues at all... but we dont do this eveyday and gmpp makes the parts they dont install them, and likewise they didnt tell us till after that u need to upgrade the valve spring to put the new cams in...
