Anyone Have A Throttle...

Does anyone have a throttle body spacer? If so what did it do to help you? What did it do to hurt you? Anyone...

You want to atomize your air fuel mixture better before it reaches your engine? Or do you just need a spacer for nitrous or some other injection?

Gains = 0, on this car you get better use from them for nitrous, and the water/meth kit.

It will do nothing for a multipoint/sequential Fuel injected motor.

Now a carburated or throttle body injection motor it will allow the fuel more time to atomize before entering the cylinder.

The only potential advantage for a port injected engine is that if you have a spacer made from a phenolic material, you will transfer less heat from the engine into the throtle body which would theoretically give you a cooler air charge. That is because the spacer would be acting to insulate the throttle body from the convected heat.

I know of a guy who uses a wooden spacer for that very reason. lol, not on a Balt though.
