anyone with this problem?

ok, so i have been hearing this hiss and sputter from the area of my downpipe for several weeks. I finally got it on the lift and checked it out and it appears to be coming from the flexpipe. I know many people have had their downpipe break at the flexpipe. Thing is, when you cover up the exhaust tip, no leak or hiss at all from that area, it only happens under acceleration and is getting louder. I was just wondering if it is a crack in the flexpipe, which i cant see one if it is, why does it do nothing when i cover the exhaust tip. anyone else have this problem?

I was afraid of that. oh well i guess its just the excuse i needed to buy my header and dp. Is it a good idea to get retuned after adding the header and dp?

will never hurt, but its not needed persay. If your still under warranty go get the downpipe for free until you save up for the header and dp you want. Its covered

As long as you within your warranty period, its covered. Do not leave with them telling you otherwise. Many people have gone back to get it replaced
