So, I was thinking about running a 10gph nozzle on a 50/50 mix (5gph methanol?) which will keep fueling similar, but send in lots more water for better cooling i would think?

Is my logic sound here?

Thanks!
No body really makes a 6gph nozzle. Your more than likely running a 5gph nozzle. Some other companys since they don't mark them will sell 1 nozzle with 2 differnt flow rattings. I would go to a 7 first before going to a 10. Even when lowering the mix from a 75 to a 50 then you will be running more water threw the motor. Usually people do run more meth as they increase nozzle size. This is because a motor can only injest so much water.

Your iat sensor will remove timing when the intake air temps go up. This is also another saftly feature.

Well, my nozzle is a 5gph, but it's rated at 100psi.. and my pump is 150psi.. So i was doing some creative rounding.

Thanks for the imput!

My car has 120k on it and I'm still running meth.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Is there a way to clean the nozzles while they're still inline? Plus what's the best way to clean the nozzles if I don't have a sonic cleaner.

I figure something that keeps the motor cooler plus more power can't be a bad thing. Does the meth cause any harm to the sc? I heard it removes the coating on the screws.

Hmmm... I'm affraid to ask this question because this has been somewhat discussed in another tread in which Zoomer came in. No flames intended but...

If we want the MOST power, ZZP Performance has made a challenge that nobody has taken yet. The question is: From what mixture do you begin to see a real increase in power...

For example: Does a 80% meth and 20% water mix has the potential of giving the highest horsepower given that the tuning is 100% optimized?

How about 100% meth with a big 10 GPH nozzle... even if a 100% meth mixture is less good for cooling... still, with a 10 GPH nozzle, would the cooling side still good?

i have a question as well..

when mounting the setup... ( i have the base kit with the adjustable pressure switch.. should i mount it in my aluminum charge piping or get that o-ring tap thing u guys sell and mount it on my coupler? i was considering that because im kinda nervous about drilling into the charge piping. a coupler is easier replaced.

Or the pump will not not move the liquid ? I've attached a picture with the area marked, the fluid resevior is underneath it. I have the DVL-8031 pump

directly in the tube will work

SunburstSS
your fine to mount it that way the pump will pull the fluid.

Any other questions let me know. Sorry for not keeping up with this tread.

I used one of those add a circuits in one of the empty fuse holders thats connected to the ignition on for power. Theres a couple empty fuse holders in the fuse box behind kick panel on the passenger side of the console. Relocated the horn into the inside fender well behind the headlight. I picked up 6 MPH at the track after Vince tuned me for it.

I see that you don't ship your pre mixed meth outside the united states. Being that I am in Germany with an APO address, I really don't have any clue on how to find methanol for this kit which is deterring me from purchasing.
Are their any other companies that you could reccomend or solutions to locating some methanol?

Sounds like im looking for drugs. LOL!

Find a trucking co or truck garage. Sometimes they have it.

It's difficult with the huge language barrier. I'm picking up a few words and phrases here and there.. It would just be easier if they could ship to my apo LOL. It's probably not legal. LOL

that a nice looking install.

since its flameable it can't go by plane. It would be way cheaper for you to find it local. You can use denatured alcohol "ethanol" even rubbing alcohol

Contact this guy. info at baade-motorsport.eu
He is a dealer for us in german and he should be able to help you out he does write english pretty well.

Which kit should I get for a SS turbo with an intake, charge piping(hot side only), and a high flow catted down-pipe with a tune. I still have the stock MAP sensors.

You will want our dvc30 kit or you will want to buy a 2.5bar map sensor out of a ss and wire it up to just give our controller a signal.

Yea you can go with a stage 1 setup and later purchess the controller to make it a stage 2.

I like the stage 2 setups because they will let your turn the sytem on at lower boost ranges. Yes you will see a very noticable decrease in lowering your iat temps. This is where you will partcial see the power gain from.

There are differnt instructions for stage 1 and for stage 2 they can both be found on our website.

Yes you will still run full octane. You should not have any issues with it for inspection. These are carb exempt. They will even pass threw in CA
