Astronomically high iat2 temps

So I have a 2007 lsj with 100k miles on it with GM Stage 2 76mm pulley intake and full exhaust. They other day it was 80* outside and sunny so I couldn't resist doing a few pulls. On my 3rd pull my torque app alarm went off and I glanced over and my IAT2 temp hit 200*F! O.O

your pump isnt working i bet .....

turn the car on and look at the T-neck in the front, if no fluid is moving = dead pump

get under the car and smack it with a rubber mallet, pump should kick on and fluid should flow threw your t-neck.

next, order a pump from zzp and replace it ....

there are tons of threads on this .. do a little research.

GM Stage 3 Pulley is 76 mm....

Check your I/C Pump. With temps like that, I bet it's dead.

Also, I would set your app to alarm you well before you get near that temp again.

Above 140-150, the car will start to pull timing due to excessive IAT2 temps.

And dont do back to back to back long pulls.

My car is set to cut boost off at 165 degree IAT2.

As said, your pump is likely dead.

yea i mean its going to get high, cuz right now with out a pump you have no intercooling.

but if you just drive it nice an normal and dnt boost and beat on it at WOT u will be ok.

try smacking it again a few times ... sometimes it takes a few good whacks
