Is this an attainable goal?

I have tested .35, .37, .40 and .45 for gaps. It took like 2 hours but I did it.
The .40 gap seemed to be the smoothest under heavy boost. No hesitation.
Hope that helps and Happy Moding!

I dont want to max anything out, and keep everything nice and safe.

MY friend! I only read half of the thread and you asked the same question over 80 times!
42Lb INJECTORS ARE FINE ALL THE WAY DOWN TO 2.6" pulley. with the 2.8 it goes hand in hand. Ive had intense stg 3 with 2.6 pulley and my car runs consistent 12s in my wideband.

yah the gm tune is more on the rich side, you dont have to worry about running lean. Also since when did you get an underdrive pulley with the gm stage 2 kit. What is it and what does it do?
Again thanks for the imput from everyone. I am learning so much. I think that I will still stick with just going to stg 2 and bolt ons for now. I am not looking to turn this into a 1/4 mile queen just something fun to drive.
Either way I am still going to own a Cobalt ss/sc !!!!!

Its definetaly obtainable. I Dyno'd 260 wheel HP, and 240 wheel TQ w/ INTENSE stage 3, intake, and full exhaust (header, catless DP, magnaflow catback)
The key is finding someone that really knows how to tune the LSJ. If its possible for you to drive to plain city, Ohio and visit intense, it would be definetely worth it.

Also, do you know if you can go to a 3.0 or 2.9 pulley on the stage 2 hub or does that require a new hub.

Can anyone answer my questionon what an underdrive pulley is and what it does?

underdrive pulley is a crank pulley that is smaller than stock...commonly used on none s/ced cars...on our cars it would require an even smaller s/c pulley for the same boost...wouldnt work to well at all...well I may switch to one for my twincharging project...hmm now u got me thinking

I see you posting a lot in the same threads that I read for info. How does your car run?? Do you like the .40 gap that you have your plugs at? I was going to go to .037 but I think now that I will back off a little to .40.
ALso excuse the noobness, like I said Im going from LS1 to LSJ, still have lots of learning to do

yeah im sry guys idk wut i was thinking, ive been under the impression that stage 2 comes with an underdrive pulley as well. My bad, it just seemed right b.c not only did i hear that somewhere before (mislead), but people are only getting around 1 more lb of boost with a pulley thats .34in smaller than stock which explains where (i thought) the boost was lost, from the underdrive pulley, gives you more torque but takes away from ur boost. I havent done the calculations out on paper, but the pulley size to boost ratio sounded wrong in my head (idiot) without actually calculating it, but now that i look at it, it sounds right b.c thats how many more lbs of boost you should be getting being there is no underdrive pulley.
kind of complicated but it makes sense
