autolite plug compared to stock

autolite plug compared to stock

so i was runnin my 2.7 with 60lbs for a week on the stock spark plugs and now i put in the autolite one step colder at a .040 gap and the car runs crappier...can i put the stock plugs back in and just run those or is there a different gap i should try..any suggestions

gap the plugs smaller...gap them down progressively from .40. my car has the plugs gapped at .36 and it runs beautiful. also NGK's are the way to go for spark plugs

yeah, alot of times you can push on the bottom of the plus with your thumb and move it a slight bit

get ngk step 2 colder

i have no idea why u would use a walmart brand plug for a balt.... but good luck man, u get what u pay for.

what are you talking about..
autolite is a HUGE plug maker.. and are very good plugs..

plugs go by conductivity and since copper is > then plat/irodium in conductivity its a better plug.. his issue is gap related or cold range.. nothing is wrong with the plugs

drop your gap to around a .035 and see how the car runs.. most of the guys on here are running plat/iridiums and they tend to have larger gaps from that

I know they are a huge plug maker.... i have had more fouled plugs from them than i can count.

I know copper is better performance-wise than platinums. However 30,000 coppers vs 100,000 platinums.

NGK makes coppers all the time. This is just my personal preference.
