awful question

okay maybe this is dumb, but has anyone tried to get there stage kit installed before they take the car off the lot? i mean like add it in to the agreed sale price of the car. or maybe even add it in to the amount you financed at a later date. thats the only way i think i could afford one.................

I've heard dealers talk about adding S2 kits to their cars on the lot before they've been sold to anyone.

Haha funny story when i got mine they were making it one of those dealer super cars i guess you could say hence the strips and crap. well they had already pre-ordered the stage 2 kit and were going to put it on when i came in to buy it. However i didnt know that well when i talked to my uncle and told him i wanted the stage 2 kit he said great we already have it here waiting for you. then i found out if i didnt want it they were going to put it on a nother car

It has been done a few times. It shouldn't be a problem at all.

Pretty much the dealer is ordering my car a couple of months before I get back from Iraq, that way they will have time to install all the options and goodies I want. And it's going to all be rolled into the selling price. Not very hard to do at all, just have to talk to them.

If a dealer wants to sell a car, then he will do what you tell him to, plus sometimes GM will pay them for the promo

my dealer told me not only can you finance it with your car....but if you buy extended warranty for your car....it will be covered under that too since it will become original equipment.

Not sure if id be happy with stage II on a brand new engine myself i let mine have a 500mile breakin.....but to each his own.

we got stage 2 installed on the red car and it was thrown in with the price of the car. (We got it for 0% financing too...we could have gotten every cobalt option thrown in at the time (and they were even going to let us toss in a 2nd stage 2 kit and install for the blue SS) but we didn't feel the need to go that crazy) Anyway, you can do it.

The Stage 2 kit did come in about 2 months later, but got installed without a problem.

CTCOBALTSSS, very nice avatar, I gotta get me one of those...lol
