Bad-Mab Header hath arrived!

And I'm assuming I use these three bolts for the DP connection, then reuse the header ones?

And a quick pic of the insides, not very symmetrical haha

The studs for the downpipe connection that came with mine were too small, use the stock or like me some stainless bolts M10x1.50x30. Might I suggest from expierence to use a stock exhaust manifold gasket as my header was making a funny noise when properly torqued with the provided gasket. After changing it for a stock gasket all is normal. Good luck

^That does look like ass.

My Badmab looked nothing like that. All the primaries were symetrical, and the welds were clean.

OP, I would send that back man. Talk to Brad, he will replace it no questions asked.

Red: Clearly you can see a sloppy weld actually hanging into a primary.

Blue: The center of the primaries is horribly off-center, (As you can also see by the division I made with the red lines.) Also, the welds look like complete slop.

Cyan: Why the hell is there scuffing marks all inside the collector?

Definitely get your money back.

This is sometimes what happens with Cheap China made product.

I still dont understand why members dont get the Pacesetter long tube ones. They are the same price, and you will get much better power.

Pacesetter is USA made FTW!

Yeah, it's called horrible inconsistency. Oh well, I call it "stimulating the economy", by wasting your money on **** parts.

Really? Where? I doubt it...

It is sold by Bad-Mab in the USA, but made over seas... Just like the Cobalt addiction one was, they are the exact same thing.

Yes, this header has actually been proven to make power from more than one member on here. No one else has really dynoed any of the other options to prove which makes more though.

I'm going to contact Brad so he can chime in.

Okay, we could be wrong, but it states nothing on their site of made in USA. If they are get it on his website! Deserve it!

Maybe post a photo of them being made some everyone can clearly tell they are USA made.

To me the photo in post #1 even looks like a China/Taiwan box... Packaging material are very different most times also.

He may sell them, but they could outsourced to be made. If they are made by him personally, then I would never buy a product in which is not even consistent. ZZP makes all of their headers and I have seen the inside of plenty and they all look exactlyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy the same. So I guess maybe laziness/bad craftsmanship on his part?

When I spend money on a product and it is not how it is supposed to be, I usually want a damn good reason.
