Long-tubes are very known to give better "under the curve" hp and tq. This is old news.
It's not ZZP, it's the fact that long-tube > shorty manifold. Like I said, this is old news. You get what you pay for. You will ALWAYS get more power with a long-tube. I am not going to cite specific examples. There is an entire internet out there for you, and who ever refuses to believe otherwise, out there. So spend some time and read a little about how motors work and how long-tubes also help the scavenging effect. The only car that should be running a shorty style exhaust manifold is a turbo car. End of story. They do not need scavenging.

Actually it's less than a $400 difference because you still have to buy a downpipe where the long tube includes one. I'm not arguing which is better but just clarifying that with the $200 bad mab header comes no downpipe. ZZP is selling thier longtube for $479. The bad mab is $189 plus lets go with a ZZP 3" downpipe for $139. So to compare it's $330. So it's really only $150 difference between the two.

Lol to some people it is. Myself i would agree with xxxxsh4d0xxxx. For the $150 bucks i would pay it if it made more hp. Who knows maybe the ZZP long tube doesn't haha. But technically it should. But i found an OTTP long tube from Frew for a really good deal so i went that route. Can't wait to bolt it up in the spring.

You couldn't be more wrong. Every car is completely different and responds differently. My Mach 1 has been proven to show more power under the curve with tuned shorties rather than long tubes. In fact, I have sat there at the dyno I've had all my Mustangs dynoed on, and witnessed with my own eyes 3V S197s not gain anything going from the stock manifold to a LT. You're statement may apply to some engines, but making a blanket statement that LTs are always better on every car is completely wrong. I don't need to search the internet to find out, I've spent my own time and money finding out what works and what doesn't.

Thats exactly what I did. They bolted up perfectly. Been about 5-6 months now. I was under there yesterday doing my trans mounts, and inspected the header and DP while I was there, and everything looks like it was just put on, minus a little dirt/dust. No rust, no soot trails, cracking, etc. Its worth more than Bad-Mab is charging if you want to know the truth. (Don't get any ideas Bad-Mab, lol)
