Bad Mab Shorty Improved 60-100 time in HPT.
So i finally got my Bad Mab Header on today, rest of parts are in sig.
I wanted to do a before and after comparing the two 60-100 times
Previous best 60-100 time was 6.2 seconds.
Adding the header got a 5.9.
Logged a good amount on the way home and have a updated tune i want to load and test.
Will keep you all posted if time changes.
Definately tell a good amount of difference with it and worth every penny.
Props to Brad for a good product.

Nice man!!
I'm installing mine this weekend. I can't wait to test it out (along with my other mods). I've had it for 3 weeks now, but have been too busy to install it. I also need a day to come w/o 20 degree temps, salt, brine, and slop all over the roads so I can make a couple of pulls.
It is a quality piece.

Out of curiosity why are you choosing the zzp intake over the ottp intake? Also, what were the "tweaks" that you applied. I don't really think this is an apple to apple comparison as I have a feeling timing or afr was changed also, however I am glad you lowered your 60-100 times and I am glad you have a non stock header!
I am kind of interested in switching to a 3 inch intake myself over the injen however I would need to sell the injen first as I can't justify re-spending 200 bucks for a cai that is only slightly bigger in some areas.

I've tried many different intake setups on my car (air box mod, XTC, AEM, Rebel, Injen), and hardly noticed any changes. You and I both know the exhaust side on the LSJ is the area that needs the most improving.
Im not sure what he adjusted on his own, I know we werent able to run much timing at all with the stock exhaust and a smaller pulley on the car. He may have bumped it up a bit himself.
stage07ss - I agree a lot however I am moving over 45lbs through the maf side and wouldn't mind a larger intake if I can grab it at a reasonable price. It won't help much, but it might help out a little.
Byt - Ya stock exhaust can put a damper on your high octane tables that is for sure lol.

As for the 3' CAI. I think there will be a slight difference to the point where it equals slighty better 1/4 miles times and i am looking for anything that going to lower that time.
As for zzp vs ottp i must say they are both good companies who have provided amazing service since day one for me. I prefer zzp for something and will order from ottp for others.
I can usually get between 18-20* on a car w/similar mods and an exhaust, he was getting like 16* peak I believe. It still pulled very smooth and felt great but you could see what it was limited by quickly.
Just took it for a quick little spin again. Did advance timing just a little and changed afr slightly. The other balts i have touched are still running almost 5 degrees more timing than i am. Definately responds better. Will see if i can get out on the highway later and see if it improved.
Yeah about a 5* difference between me and the cars i have seen with exhausts. Really starting to wonder what this thing will do with a set of slicks and exhaust/retune.
Different types of gasoline can effect timing a lot. The higher the octane the more timing you can run. I would suggest methanol injection if you wwant to run more timing or e85 if you have it in your area.
Track time will tell. If you can pull a 1.8 to 2.0 60ft you might have a chance.
