i know this is probably going to be the stupidest question i have posted but.

i ride second out to about 5 grand and then shift into third. The moment i feel it get in third i dump the clutch and floor the pedal.

the moment I hit the gas to the floor i get a bang from the front. bangs are not good, so im not doing this any longer, but what is banging? just the engine hopping aorund cause of the mounts?

you are tweeking the motor and caseing the trans mount to bang agist the end stop.

 

thats what i figured thanks guys, engine mounts just moved up a couple spots....

 

get the ignalls damper. problem solved

 

I had a loud bang once, then my friend that was following behind me said I shot about a 2ft flame out the exhaust....so mine was just backfire, but i blew my resinator

 

Hard power shifting without ether upgraded mounts (engine or tranny) or the Ignalls will bang your engine around.
