bench dyno with phantomss Balt

Alright bout to get dyno'd on the dynojet. Let the bench guessing begin.

42# injectors
Injen cai
Vibrant header + dp
Gmp sport exhaust
2.8 pulley
11.9 afr
25.5 timing
60/40 methanol
Cobra h/e

And a whole lot of fairy dust

lucked out and went to a buddy's house to post this.

1st run in 3rd to clean carbon 249.49 whp 233.01 tq
2nd run after things cleared gave me 253.87 whp 237 tq
3rd run he asked if i wanted to do 4th.... i know my EGTs and opted to see what 2nd would do.
the blue one is the 2nd gear pull 244.25 220 tq

Anyway dont do 2nd gear pulls on dyno lol

208 whp forgot the torque when i was stock 2 years ago.

as a baseline my personal best with methanol is a 13.6 @ 109.3

60" 2.41 @ 29.6 mph
330 6.13@ 65.1 mph
1/8 9.07@ 84.7 mph
1000 11.54@ 100 mph
1/4 13.6@ 109.3 mph

ive trapped higher but had much worse 1/4 times.

The torque curve divot i think you are talking about is because it is street tuned for pulls after 3,000 rpm. Methanol is probably coming on 250 rpms early.

So thats a true TC vs SC driver's race with a slight favor in the tc's court (tq).. I would say with that 1/4 mile time you would edge out a lot of TC's. However I have seen a few runnings mid high 13's and 102 -104. How are all these people beating the TC with just stage 2 then?

i beat stock tcs consistently from a

40 roll = 2-3 cars
60 roll = 1-2 cars
100+ = dead even

I cant accurately say digs because he hasnt mastered his launch control

Yeah roll races though... when the added tq doesn't matter. I would say from a roll you have the advantage. I hope he learns how to launch that thing soon ... Not poo pooing you're results though. Thats awesome. I am so modding the **** out of my TC now though.... . Enough with being bitch slapped by the m62 ...

I think we both know how to drive.

This was me with a 200 lbs passenger and untuned on methanol the first day i got it running. Running 10s afr. I did increase the timing before the run though.

He had no passenger + empty tank (i had to get him gas at the QT)

mperez was also following us the other day when we did our runs BOTH without a passenger and can verify.

Hell I'm shooting for 280's with that same setup!
