go look at the gmpp catalouge (sp?) they have several parts, get the gmpp exhuast and manifold, and do either an airbox mod or get an intake

i used to be warranty crazy too, but then i just started modding, and my dealer hasn't said a word. if you got a cool dealer, then they wont bitch at you. take that into consideration...

Depending on dealer you could go aftermarket, such as 2.6-2.8 pulley, 60lb injectors, ported blower, see my mod list in vb garage for some mods you can go that are non gm, or if you like your warranty, try gm exhaust, manifold, ingalls td, intake, short shifter.

And by the way are you in clarksville md?

Theres like 7 Chevy dealers within 10 miles of my house, so They wouldn't say anything to me if i was like, "Well Crane chevy wouldn't say anything, I'll just have my parents buy from them as with my next car" So far they have been VERY cool about the modding

go with the airbox mod (see thread "airbox modification") costs $25-50... you get that lovely whine... and it's as good as any CAI.

But would this airbox mod need to be done at the dealer? That is, if I want the warranty to still be valid?

Thanks

get a turbonator! they r so awesome!

but for real, dont get a turbonator

Cooling mods are never a bad idea such as a cobra heat exchange and maybe some meth/water injectors.

Also new headers and down pipes are not a bad idea.

LOL! 3" exhaust with stage 2. Are you kidding, or just not know what you're talking about at all?

Don't waste your money on a 3" exhuast that is complete overkill for a minimal mod.

you don't have to do anything at the dealer for it to be valid. that's a line of **** they tell you so they can rip you off on install prices.

Is the airbox mod worth it, or should I just replace the stock filter with a k&n stock filter (PN E-0777)??

Thanks for an answer!

Well if what you are saying is valid, then you just opened a whole new world of possibilities for me, cuz i dont wanna spend an assload at the dealer getting a semi easy stage 2 done.

btw does anyone know what it costs to get a stage 2 installed/tuned anyway?
