My car is quiet as stock when cruising on the highway with the windows up thanks to their zero drone resonator. Yet, has a great bark to it at WOT w/o rasp.
I wouldnt have it any other way.
Corsa's muffler on their catbacks flow 410.9 CFM vs. the stock 302.8 CFM. I got this info from a neat little add they had when they first made the Cobalt catbacks.

Hmm never heard a LNF muffler on a LSJ. It is crazy quiet on the LNF but the turbo helps. If it were my LSJ I would run a 5"x 8" magnaflow muffler and if that was still too loud I would have a bullet style resonator put on like a pypes M80. I will never be a fan of chambered mufflers for performance applications (especially single exhaust cars making over 250 whp) but on V8s they sure sound nice but IMHO on a 4 cylinder car (non turbo) most chambered mufflers are either too raspy or way too quiet in the case of a large 3 chamber muffler.

I know somebody suggested a 2.5 inlet muffler for the LSJ but I have the opportunity to buy a Magnaflow muffler for cheap but the ones we carry are all 2.25 inlet. I was thinking either a 14821 14" x 6" x 6" - in: 2.25" - out: 4" or 14827 14" x 5" x 8" - in: 2.25" - out: 4". Any suggestions?
No, catless DP plus stock catback on LNF = barely hear the car even at WOT. Even catless DP plus muffler delete (only the tiny stock resonator is left) is not super loud compared to a lot of vehicles I have ridden in.
No it will not because he is a NA 2.2. Even a stock or close to stock SS/SC will not loose any performance but on a heavily modded TVS car I can almost guarantee it will cost some power at WOT (unless they found a way to make it flow 600 CFM or so)

I have yet to see any restriction. I've tested larger downpipers as well, and showed no difference in performance.
A 2.5" exhaust is plenty even for most TVS cars. Blower cars arent as sensitive to exhaust gas back pressure as turbo cars.

I always vowed to keep my exhaust somewhat quiet on this car (yet provide good performance).
I used to have a loud ass exhaust on my Cavalier RS when I was younger. That got old fast!!

i think gm's is deeper sounding and quieter judging by the videos i've seen, however i've never heard either of them in person. i'd love to have either of them as well preferably the gmpp... but then theres the price
The gmpp does sound great but I hear everyone going crazy over zzp exhaust so figured I'd give it a shot if it sounds good
i love my 3 chamber.
My previous set-up:
ZZP 1.5 Primary mid-length combo with stock style cat, GMPP Cat back
Current Set-up:
ZZP 1.65 Primary Mid-lenght with spun metal cat, ZZP 3 chamber Cat back (2.5")
the current setup is quieter. much quieter. the GMPP sounds great but it was loud when added to the header/DP setup.
im working on setting up a gopro to get some sounds clips on my current setup.
Car is a 06 SS/NA
