Should've bought a V8 for the modern muscle car sound.
Do a search and listen to the video and sound clips posted by the other members.
You should upgrade your cat.
Yes you can cross over to the passenger side.
You can do anything

The GM performance exhaust sounds the best and also is far less coin.

Yeah, but you still need to buy the exhaust tip for $60. Add it all up and you can get a magnaflow for the same price and it is 2.5" instead of the gm 2.25".

Corsa Sport with a Punched out CAT is the best exhaust IMO.

How is the install of the GM Performance Exhaust. Do you need a special tool for the oxygen sensor?

it will take you about 20 minutes. You need something to cut the old exhaust off. No need to use a tool for the oxygen sensor, you don't change that for the cat-back. The odd thing about the GM cat-backs, they sit to the driver side....no clue why....

This is the best I've heard so far...barely any rasp and no baffle under decel as far as i can tell...also it sounds almost stock at anything other than WOT which is a major bonus for me

I have had my magnaflow for a month now and its awsome. Only time it ever makes a garble noise is when cold starting, then goes into this really mellow idle. That video link in the above thread is pretty much what my car sounds like but keep in mind i am usually in my car with windows down to hear it. so never heard reved up from that angle. My coworker has an SRT-4 and when we raced all he could hear was my exhaust and that awsome supercharger whine (Thats a good thing IMO)

What do you mean that the cat-back sits to the drivers side. Do you mean that it is not centered within the outlet in the bumber or what? Do you have any pics?

magnaflow, without a doubt is the most farty sounding exhaust. If you want a nice 2.5 inch get the corsa but 2.25 is enough unless you plan on having like 500 horsepower. I love when people think you NEED, no MUST have a 2.5 inch exhaust in order to achieve proper gains. 600 horsepower mustangs have 2.5 inch exhausts. If you dont believe me go over to svt performance.com. They know alot more than th people on this site.

Yea they are problably running 2.5" dual exhaust. And there motors are NA not forced induction. For a FI motor a 3" is best. I think all these companies stuck with 2.5" exhaust because of sound levels when you go to 3" it gets loud no matter how big a resonator you have.

Click here - - Link to my 3" exhaust sound clip...it under the Ion video section.

So you are saying that the exhaust tip it off center to the drivers side ? Hope it's not so close as to melt some plastic ?

What does the GMPP (GM Performance Product???) system cost?

Is it the full exhaust system from the headers, or just cat-back?

What is required for installation?

Thanks!
