Best Header Out?

So like it reads, what is currently the best header out for our cars? Is Pacesetter any good? CA? DCS? Which one?

they're pretty much all the same... do a search, there's a billion threads about this

the dc and ca will bolt up, pacesetter is a long tube header so you will have to have your downpipe cut and welded together...

I personally have my sites set on the CTI (Custom Tubing Inc) headers. Its a long pipe and comes with a high flow cat and 3" downpipe.

I like the look of the DC Sports header, and the Hahn header/downpipe combo, but I'd like to hear some testimonials about them. The CTI looks good as well, but its in the same boat as the others. Are all three of these bolt on replacements? Thats something else that is very important in my book.

Hahn racecraft header is awesome. Made out of stainless so you know it will last long. Check it out on here

Which retailers sell it? I wonder if their header with their downpipe would be too big for my car (loss of lower end torque)

stick to a 2.5" combo and you'll be fine

there's a video clip of a hahn header, downpipe, and 3 inch exhaust on a ss/sc at youtube.com. i listened to other set ups like gmpp and vibrant, but hahn's gets my vote 100% just really expensive though

I say get the Pacesetter ArmorCoated header. Great quality, price, and very noticeable performance gains.

If you are talkin about the hahn header, that is where you can buy it. Just grab their phone number of the home page. They sell their own stuff for the cobalts. I don't know of any vendors that are selling cobalt mods from Hahn.

The jbp header is crazy looking, True equal length header and 3.0 collector! That gets my vote. I hope to have one by spring time w/ catless downpipe.

Yea, that jbp header is nuts. Hard to believe that fits under the hood!

yea, it looks crazy... but doesn't seem super impressive performance wise, since the whp #'s are also including an exhaust and intake... looks damn nice though! but for almost 800, is the extra 2 whp really worth it?

try to rememeber that those are the gains on a stock car.
as soon as you start adding other mods like a stage kit, even smaller pulleys, larger injectors, or cams.
that's when this exhaust is reallying going to shine over all others.

this exhaust will make even more power on a modified car, while most other systems will not make as much because they are more reastrictive, especially the smaller diameter exhausts
