+1 i did it to mine and seemed to have the same effect as an aftermarket intake. save you money on an aftermarket intake and do the airbox mod. with the 200 you save you can buy some real performance mods.

There reall is no best intake. They all do the same thing. Some fit better than others. I picked up an eBay intake. Not too shabby. I would recommend a better filter for it though.

yeah all i did was just take the bottom of the airbox off, put high flow filter on there and drilled a hole in the top of the air box so i could tighten the clamp down. dry flow is the best. all together it took me about an hour and a half but thats because i had no idea on how to get the airbox out at the time. it was only my second day having the car but know that i know what to do it would probaly only take about 30-45 min considering you have to jack the car up and take some stuff out just to do it. well worth it but if your going for strictly looks in the engine bay then go with an aftermarket intake. everybody that sees my car thinks i just have an exhaust and that everything else is stock not knowing that i really have an air box mod and a stage 2. it really shocks people more when you blow past them.

Ahhh, the "sleeper" approach, that I like, that's what I was thinking about doing. I'm going to look around a little more, but that just jumped to the top of list, +1 reps for you.
