Go with the tranny mounts. There cheap and work well. I got mine from www.cobaltperformanceparts.com when I had the balt. One of the best mods I did.

The front tranny mount is a piece of cake to do. I've heard that the rear one can be a pain, but I can't imagine it being too hard.

It has been shown also that the motor mount is over rated unless you are pushing some high Hp. The cost of the tranny mounts are cheap and they eliminate the wheel hop better then the motor mount.

There are 3 mounts total that you can stiffen up.

2 transmission and 1 engine.

2 Tranny bushings are really cheaper ~$50.00 the engine Mount is ~$200.00

If you get a complete set through us, when you purchase the engine mount, you can get the tranny bushings for only $29.99

not an easy install, not just a little more vibrations, took me an hour and i was a mechanic untill two weeks ago. My new nickname for the car is the vibrator. (My fiance calls it foreplay)

talking about tranny mounts, sry...

The mounts will break in. I honestly dont think the Motor mount does a whole lot. Go with the two tranny mounts and you wont be disappointed.

what injectors are you using?

unless the injectors your using now are having trouble doing the job....new injectors are going to give you 0 power.

if your on the stock tune, im sure a good tune can net you a few ponies though.
but nothing will bump up your power like a lb or 2 of extra boost.

I've got the Bwoody engine and tranny mounts... personally the tranny mount is doing the most for me. The engine mount just looks good under the hood... so it's saying.

I'd stay away from the traction bars... they hang down under the car so they can scrape... plus you need to re-grease them often so they don't creak and make your car sound like junk.

come on now raine, theres nothing wrong with traction bars. im actually making me a set myself. it should be all ready by tomorrow if i get the rest of my parts in. ill let you drive it when i get it all put together and on the car and adjusted properly. its all personal though, if you dont care about vibrations get all mounts, if you do care about vibrations get traction bars and polyurethane control arm bushings. if your like me and want to go all out get everything i listed above and it will be an awesome car.

you also have to keep in mind im running at sea level, the humidity is high but when its cold the car is amazing
