block heater

where is the block heater cord on the 2005 cobalt ss?? im trying to find it but i cant cuz i don't see it. Can someone help me out...

Welcome to the site. They do not come from the factory with them but you can order them from your dealer.

whats a block heater... is it literally a heater for the block so theres no cold start ups?

The SS/SC does not come with a block heater in Canada. It is optional in the US, but not up here. If you got a 2.4L SS I think they come with a block heater in Canada.

Yes. It warms your oil for better flow at startup.
