Blown engine cobalt

well this morning qwhile i was going to school the car didnt feel normal
i felt a lack of power ond the boost was reaching over 15 psi(bone stock)
i stopped 1 mile from home open the hood and saw that there was oil everywhere
then realised that it camed fron the dipstick which was poped

car is still under warenty so will see it's gonna do
any idea was could be the problem?

Bad intake gasket letting air pass into crank case, and a possibe. and possible bad cat.

if it was a ring, you would be boosting way lower. sounds like a bad cat and the extra pressure popped your stick and your load went all over.

^ I said it third.

A bad cat means to much back preasure which
Eqns to much comuwtion pressure which also means bad idle don't drive it, and if u have to somehow open ure exaust beforw the cat. Like tke your 02 sensor out just to check.

The backpressure backs up through the intake into the crankcase. The high pressure in the crankcase means that the air has to escape somewhere = dipstick pops out and oil sprays all over the ******* place.

This problem as been seen since the first cobalt ss rolled off the assembly line which is why there is a TSB/extended warranty now offered on all LSJ cats.

When I had a bad cat with 3.0 pulley I boosted 20+ psi. Now where do you think all that pressure is going to go if it can't make it out the exhaust. Just fade away? Nah .

so was the car not going over a certain speed or RPM level. ususally a bad cat will slow the car dramatically.

Ya, the pistons suck. What all was done to this car? You said stock...but, has anyone else owned the car before you?

PS-if the dealer doesnt warrany it, build it yourself. Alot cheaper that way.
