Boost Problem?

yea thats what i thought it would do too but it didnt budge and i suppose im gonna have a hard time with them to get them to do warrenty work to it considering i have an exhaust?

its not broken. there have been a million threads about how crappy the stock boost gauge is. you're probably right on target for pressure, but the gauge isnt reading it correctly.
just check all the vaccuum lines you can find for leaks... if you dont find one, then there is nothing wrong.
if you start reading a higher boost level than 12 and you have no mods, thats a problem.. clogged catalytic converters will cause the meter to read 15+psi due to extra backpressure in the exhaust.
if you add a free flowing exhaust, its not uncommon to see a 1 psi drop. BUT, your blower isnt pushing any less air, its still doing the same job it was before.
