boost problem?

boost problem?

just wondering how much kpa would 12.5psi be... because iv noticed the most i can get is 65 kpa and was debating bring it into the dealer for them to check it out?

65 KPA is almost 9.5 lbs of boost. Do the boost bypass and see if it goes up, if all else fails take it to the dealer Joe.

the boost bypass isnt going to do anything (has never for my car at least) take her in

the boost bypass mod is only if you have an aftermarket pulley. u do this mod only when u are running more boost (12.5+). it prevents the boost from being leaked outta the system. this mod wont do anything for a stock pulley. also, altitude plays a major factor in boost.

Wut exactly does the boost bypass do? and how do u do it?> this is my first boosted car, i'm trying to learn. Wut i've learned so far is boost is the greatest ever!!

so either way i should bring it in to get checked out....

you think there hook it up to a comp to check it out or you think there going to want to take her out and push the car to make sure im not lieing thats the only thing i dont want them to do is take it out and rip it down the street ....

Well I'd think they would have to put it under actual drive conditions to prove if it is getting proper boost or not !

im boosting at 86ish kpa

I'm in Vancouver ( like 10 ft above sea level ) and i was getting 80-90 kPa even during break-in...
