it's either a leak or a bad bypass valve. I haven't heard of the bypass valve going bad, but i've only been on this forum for a year. also make sure the 2 lines going to/from the bypass valve aren't switched.

I've heard of the bypass valves sticking or going to crap. That is more than likely the issue...

it's the black thing that's attached to your supercharger.... zzp sells for like 30-40 bucks. there's a little rod that is on the bottom of it, see how easily it is to move it up and down by hand.

yeah i see it i slid it up and down there was some resistance a little more then smooth i must say and it just looksgunked up pretty good i can hear the spring inside crunching a bit i had to replace my throttle body awhile back because that was gunked up and was getting stuck close so its a good possibility that its boogered up i wanna order one but i think i might takeit to the dealership to have a diagnostic ran on it just to make sure at first i thought it was a boost leak which i did have one not pic just i pin size hole in a hose which im sure still does a good amount to my boost i fixed it and went over everything else that could leak and i found nothing i appreciate th advice man i was searching for a good amount of time today and got frustrated cause i knew what it was and everything couldnt find a part number or a site selling one i honestly do appreciate it thanks

the only things i can think of are.... vacuum leak somewhere... bad BPV... bad evap selenoid... MAYBE fuel injectors not giving you enough fuel to get to higher rpms??? do you have a wideband?

my boost was where it was suoppose to be at when i bought the car i started noticing lag around the same time my throttle body went out on me thats why im thinking its a gunked up bpv i dont have a wideband well as far as i know ive tried to have several people look over my car that has a good idea of what there looking at most people out here have a turbo charged cobalt so they know as much as they do about that i contacted zzp and asked them what they thought they asked me what fuel im running which for awhile was midgrade cause i didnt know i had stage 2 injectors and pulley but i keep the injectors clean the best i can i have a fuel regulator so i can adjust it..... with the set up i have which is bigger fuel pump stage 2 injectors 2.9 pulley and cold air what should i be at on the regulator i know stock is around 60 but im not sure exactly where i should be at with the set up i have
