Its the same thing that happened with the KN intake. The exuast is already released however it will take a while for companies to start selling them.

We have plenty on order, however Borla is taking a while to release them..

Because we are a Borla direct warehouse, you can rest assured we will have them as soon as they become available !

Basing the answer from other 2.0L engines, does the Borla have a deeper tone than the Magnaflow?

Not sure about other 2.0L engine, but in my experience with borla they make very throaty exhausts.

I would really like it to sound as throaty as possible for a 4 bangger. Somethin maybe like the srt-4. I really don't want to sound like a ricer. No offense to you guys that like that sound, its just not for me. That is the whole reason I havn't changed the exhaust yet. Can't find a manufacture that doesn't sound like a fart can.

IMO, The borla for the 2000 monte carlo ss sounds like crap. Borla is amazing for v8's though. I've never heard it on a 4 banger. We will just have to wait and see.

Borla should be deeper if they use one of there oval mufflers and not one of there round boomers.

The reason Borla is usually deeper than Magnaflow is due to the type/amount of roving material in the muffler.

Magnaflow uses stainless mesh around the perf. tube and fiber material fill the rest of the muffler.

Borla uses a large amount of stainless mesh around the perf. tube only.
