Exclamation Bov

Hey i was just looking for some advice, since this is the first s/c car i have ever owned i was wondering about the BOV. I have heard alot of turbod cars w/BOVs and i like the way it sounds. I want to get a BOV so that i can hear the pressure being released and i was wondering if anyone has a BOV on thier cobalt yet...basically i want any info that i can get. And if i can get a new BOV what is recomended...thanks

other than that you could tape it and put it on cd (turn stereo up real loud and keep playing track) or make the sound from you mouth lol are type supercharger it isnt possible i too wish i could get the sound so now i must wait for the twincharger (turbo, supercharger)

No one to my knowledge has a turbo installed on there Cobalt. Let me be the first to say that you cannot alter the BOV on the supercharger. It's internal. What's the point anyways ?

I actually miss the BOV. However, with the small supercharger whine im quite happy. Not many people have a supercharger. Once i get the intake i'll completely forget about a BOV

actually, after awhile, the BOV gets annoying. I hang with the SRT guys and their BOV's are going all the time. I hate it. Plus they all sound the same and its not quite as cool anymore

are we honestly this turned on by noises? I bought a car that is fun to drive. The only car sounds that interest me come from my system. I am fine with quiet cars. I don't intend to **** off anyone, just curious

I think this newb should be enlightened to the screaming of a proper supercharger. No way on earth would I rather have a BOV.

its interesting how much people do find noise an important feature of a car ...you should see all the work that goes into making each car sound like it does ...as far as I know all major car companies hold survey groups to determine what a car should sound like (has anyone else seen the thing about the f150 on the discovery channel)

the only better sounding s/c is on the mustangs when they got a smaller pulley on them

they are part of the reason i went for a s/c than a turbo
