Which Brakes

I wanna get new rotors and pads.What would people recomened for rotors: drilled, slotted, or drilled and slotted? Also which site sells brakes and waht not the cheapest

GM Slotted Cross Drilled Rotors (F&R)

Hawk HPS Pads (F&R)

got the rotors from CrateEngineDepot
Pads from Thmotorsports

great stuff

machined brembo blanks sound pretty nice... slotted rotors would be my next choice.... drilled don't seem to work as well as far as I what I have read about them.

I have the EBC rotors and Hawk ceramic pads. I have had no problems and they work great!

If you are going for looks get drilled but if you are looking for performance stay with a solid rotor. Most of your stopping performance is in the caliper and pads.

I got Rotorworks rotors and they came with pads. Talk to Uneek. Great price and I been using them for 6 months now and they are awesome. Pics of them in my gallery

screw bear i got ebc green stuff pad f+r and drilled and sloted rotors and goodriged brake hose and i can stop before the dime hahahahha i well put 200bills down that my car stop as good or even better than a bear brake system

Precisely. Good blanks provide the best and longest performance especially if you're doing high-heat, repetitive braking. Get good pads (Hawk HPS), and some stainless steel lines (Goodridge) and you'll notice an amazing difference in stopping power.

ok, so what blanks do you reccommend? how do you know what a "good" set of blanks are? something that cost more then another? i am curious because i am in need of brakes and will be replacing them soon. trying to get an education as far as what will suit my needs. thanks
