Drive it however you want. Drive it like you stole it preferably.

I would say drive it normal...i usually put a few heat cycles in it just to make sure everything seals up fine..other than that enjoy it.

they are supposed to road test it tomorow then call me to go get it. they fucked up my timing when they replaced my tensioner. the chain has slapped one too many times on the chain guides to it broke of a bolt and they tried to remove the bolt they stripped it into the cylinder head. so im getting FREE HEAD from the dealership. get it? ;P

2 of the three chain guides are in the block... Seems strange that they broke bolts on the upper guide and not the two lower ones. Also these motors + wrong timing = usually stamped pistons. I'd ask to see the damage before they put the whole thing back together to make sure they didn't damage something else too like stamping the pistons or breaking the lower guides.

to it wasnt timing issue it was the timing guide issues, the car was running but a knock was heard from the chain slappign on the broken guide towed it there.

the car runs fantastic, no more startup noise. i had the noisies belt tentioner and now its quiet. somehow that was related to timing. possibly a stretched chain as well. i have all the part numbers in a work oder includint a cylinder head and 16 valve seals. and all the gaskets

As long as the car is up and running that's good. Sounds like you found a dealer who takes care of you. Just didn't wanna see them fix one problem but leave another and then have something else break on you and them claim that it wasn't their fault.

At least they took care of it. Dealers I've gone to all suck. I had an oil leak coming from around the timing chain tensioner and determined the dealership determined it was a flaw in the head. However, instead of replacing it because obviously it had to be a flaw from when it was cast, they voided my warranty saying mods had broken something. At the time I was still NA and only had a k&n intake, exhaust, and they also claimed that my interceptor was part of what voided my warranty
