what mods to do first?
i do NOT have a cobalt yet but i just got a job and I'm going to get one soon, already found on to trade+500 cash.
Its got 50k on it stage 2 kit and stage 2 clutch.
im wounding what are the best mods and what mods should be done first?
I still live with my parents so the only bill i will have is insurance other than that everything i make will probably go into this car.
What I'm trying to do i guess is create like a "dream build" before i actually get the car to see what it takes to get the most power i can.
last question is from what I've read the piston are the weakest points on the 2.0 and i was curious how hard is it to change them your self? I'm guessing the whole block has to come out right?

pistons in these cars are not even that weak..plenty of ppl hav pushed them pretty hard but yes u can change them in the car but i suggest honing the cylinder when u do it neways and rebalancing the engine, mounts i suggest zzp or powell to get rid of wheel hop, i suggest e85 if u have it in ur area but u will need bigger injectors and a tune, cooling mods always help as well (dual pass, heat exchanger etc..) a good upgrade is the TVS supercharger u can pick em up used from 1200-1600 and they love e85...ZZP is a great place to buy parts for ur car i suggest browsing their site and this forum for more info
sweet! what does rotated trans mounts do? but as far as the pistons ill just run it once i get it till one goes haha thats the benefit to a back up truck.

if u want pistons i got a brand new set of diamond 10-1 with total seals for sale...and ya cams and exhaust will do that i have cams as well but my idle is turned up so u dont hear it..makes ppl think its more stock
if i get this car ill send you a message but i like the deep tone you get from corsca i think it is? that exhaust sounds sweet
corsa does sound good..i hav a zzp full 3" and mines real deep but i got more done to mine so it makes it sound a little different as well...but ya if u end up wantin those pistons let me know

best upgrade - depends on wut ur goals are..i wasnt looking for numbers i lik no lag, snappy, and quick and a good DD to scoot around traffic
wheel hop - to get rid of wheel hop get rotated front and rear trans mounts or tc mounts, and ingals td also works well..wont get u traction itll jus make u spin instead of hop cuz ther stiffer and hold in place which will save ur axles and other possible problems
