How many miles did your car take before you thought in was properly broken in. Engine wise

Check your manual. I think it is around 1000km (500 miles or so)

nope, pretty sure the engine is broken in already. you want to break in the brakes, and the clutch, and some of the other components. but the question was ENGINE wise, which i'm almost positive is already broken in from the factory.

it didn't matter for mine even though I babied it until the first oil change

I guy I work with broke the news to me, after months of owning it, that he drag raced it when it was new up against another SS S/C from work. I almost decked the guy. He knew I was going to buy it because of the miles and the fact that I thought it wasn't abused.

this is the age old arguement that will never be solved. just do what you think is right...your car is on warrenty and if **** breaks it gets fixed. romp the new ride if you want to or if you are worried about it go easy on her

people will try and convince you its ready to beat on from day one.

I will never agree with that. no matter what the engineers tell you.
I will give my car 500 miles to settle down till the day I die.

id rather be wrong, than sorry.
