more than likely they will make a "big brake kit" which will require at LEAST a 17" rim. I would be interested to see the pricing of their kit compared with the SSBC kit. Also to the guy that wanted a "lighter" set of "big brakes", it isn't going to happen. The physical caliper size will more than likely be bigger, although made of aluminum. Which makes no difference on our cars because the stock calipers are aluminum. Then take into account the brackets which will bolt to the stock spindle to move the caliper out over the bigger rotor and then in turn the bigger size rotor. More rotating mass takes more power to move. Anyway I would like to see what brembo could do. Hopefully their prices will be "affordable" to the masses. But based on their prices of the Gran Turismo brake kits, we shall see.

He said we need to show them how interested we are, He said in the past people asked to get kits made and nobody ended up buying them. We need to get them to make the kits buy letting them know we are ready to buy right now.

if they can get us a "pretty" damn close quote.. then we should do a group buy to show them it will be a valued product and the upfront purchase will give them that R&D they would need

I asked StopTech to see if they wanted in on a BBK, and they declined. I will ask Brembo today or tomorrow.

They don't do BBKs. They sold the rights to make them to Power Slot.

The rotor rights were sold to Power Slot so that is no more, and the pads are branded Nissin pads.

I sent Brembo an email when I first purchased my SS/SC and I received a call from them. The guy said once enough interest is guaged, they would produce... So count me in!! I've got an appearance question though. What color would you want the calipers to be?? I've seen their kits in black, red, silver, even gold. I think the gold would look OK, maybe to match the bowties??

Hate to highjack a thread but a Baer Brakes sales rep got back to me today and sent me the following email, I posted about this on another thread in the technical section under Suspension, so don't shoot me for this.
