Building the internals...

I have seen numerous 4 cyl cars running 6-9 psi putting out close to 270-300hp. We are running 12.5, is there anyway to not modify the supercharger but build up the motor to accept the boost better?

Remember psi does not mean power cfm does and if you port your head and run bigger cams, header, ect the psi will drop but the flow will increase with more power. Basicly those cars running low boost and big #'s flow well.

It's called high compression engines running safe boost levels for stock internals. Our cars are low compression to take more boost. So that is the main to make power for our car. You could always swap pistons to bump compression, then lower the boost. The list could go on for supporting mods for going this route!

I have a spare engine here and I can tell you that stock is not low compression try 9.5-1 I know thats not 11-1 honda, but usually low comp is 8-1,8.5-1. Not to pick a fight but big #'s cars with big turboes run very low compression.

As Mercury stated 270-300hp. I should have said moderately low compression.
