I have had my engine die from hitting medium bumps & it happened 6 months back once & now it happened twice in the same day.

It will restart fine this is not a limp mode type of dieing as it throws no Engine light or code & its more anoying then anything.

My car is at the dealer now & as you can imagine they can't find the issue as it's intermitent & only happens when hitting a medium bumps & I really don't want the dealer to take my car down pothole alley to recreate it so I was hopeing someone has had the same problem & found the cure??

Please let me know if this has been an issue for anyone else??

 

its part of your car's self protection system in case of an accident i believe. or you have a loose connection somewhere in you electrical system.

 

Have them check the BCM connections. Buddy of mine had that problem on his 05 SS/SC and it was something in the wiring. I wish I could be more specific but it was over 2 years ago, I don't remember the details.

 

Just for the hell of it pop your hood and push down on your fuse box in the engine bay and all of the fuses, make sure everything is tightly secured.

 

Ok I'll check those connections & fuses & see what happens.
