buying exhuast need a little help

i have decided on my exhuast, a gmpp extruded honed manifold, to a zzp high flow cat, and finishing it off with a gmpp performance exhuast with a angle cut tip. sounds good great except for one little thing im new to working on cars and learning as im going so what do i need to order with that such as honed gaskets, honed stud do i need that? and what size do i order the zzp downpipe and what do i need on it such as o2 senser? SOMEONE HELP ME PLEASE!

When you order it look at the specs and see what it comes with thats how you figure out what you will need

The stock bolts would work fine. The manifold is just a honed version of your stock one...that's all.

As long as the gaskets aren't worn (which they probably aren't), then you might be able to re-use them.

I've got the honed manifold and I bought the whole reseal kit. But I didn't need the whole thing. I would just get the gaskets. As long as you don't break the studs you will be fine. You just have to take them off your stock manifold. As far as the zzp downpipe you would get the 2.5 with hiflow cat and 02 bung. You wont need the gaskets because you will have new ones with the exhaust and manifold.

Der, you're right.

Get the new gasket.

honestly to me, the extruded manifold seems like a waste of money. i seen a header on the cobalt addiction website for like 200, which is the one im going to get. looks like it would perform better then the extruded manifold and still bolts up to the stock or aftermarket downpipe.

I agree. Headers flow much better than a manifold design.

Why are you going with the manifold? Emissions? I seriously think you should take a look at the ZZP mid length header/DP.

actually the hahn 3 inch is probobly the best way to go depending on your needs, and what you are going to do to the car. a 2 1/4 will work for light mods but anything over 250 whp a 3 inch would be better.

Vibrant header/downpipe and get the vibrant cat back, or the Corsa Cat-back... IMO this is the best setup.

Actually, I think the Clear Image 4-2-1 is the best setup offered right now for the SS/SC. Get you a good 2.5" or 3" catback and your all set. I'm thinking I'm going to get the CI 4-2-1 and the Megan Racing catback.

Their actually local to my place back in the states too. About a 30~40 minute drive depending on traffic. So if it doesn't fit I can go over there and give em hell! Actually, I think I'm going to throw the Megan racing exhaust in the trunk (ok ok, with the back seat down), drive up there, and let them put the whole sha'bang on.
