C/X racing h/e installed w/pics

I installed the H/E physically to the front end but did not route the coolant lines yet. It got dark and I was getting bit by too many mosquitoes. I thought i would share what it looks like. It is about a quarter inch lower than i measured but I left it out of impatience.
This is the smaller cx racing h/e. fyi.

I started to. but then came to my senses and bent some aluminum. I was trying to install it like the one that was posted a couple days ago but could not fit a drill between the bumper and the radiator w/o a right angle drill. I instead bent a couple pieces of aluminum and made a quick bracket with bolts and called it a day. No need to remove anything.

Did not cross that bridge yet. I just test fitted everything and am tackling the rest thursday when I get off work. Now that all of my fitting is done it should be simple to do the rest.

I dont monitor my IAT's. I dont race and I rarely go over 4000 rpm's so that should keep my temps down. I dont know about any sagging.

I bought it off ebay a few weeks ago it should be about $150ish from the username cxracing on ebay. Then maybe $25ish for miscellaneous parts from lowes/menards or wherever.

Just finished everything. Seems to be working good. I replaced the rubber washer on the cx h/e bleeder because it was not snug and leaked a little. other than that it was not too bad.

I try to be civil most the time. I have lights and siren in my car for responding as a firefighter/paramedic so I feel obligated to have some sort of respect for the rules of the road. When the lights and siren are on I can then drive with "due regard" .

you actually don't need to bleed the system. i thought i would have to but it's actually just fill it up then run it then fill it and keep repeating the process.
