CA Stage 3

ok guys, i'm seriously about to order this like right now. but before i click i would like to get any feedback on this kit and whether or not it is a good idea to buy it. i was going to buy a header/downpipe combo but for around the same money i can buy the CA stage 3 kit and get more power, so i've decided to go with the stage 3. any info or comments would be appreciated.

if you want to save some money ill sell you my 42 pound injectors with harness. 125 shipped. then all you need is a pully. the plugs can be picked up at you local napa for bout 12 bucks. i had the kit honestly i would just go 2.8 pully if you want to keep the 42s rather then the 60s 2.7 on the 60s is just a bad idea.

you are forgetting 60lb injectors & wiring harness....which run almost 300. so right there your total is around the 550 range.....so it could be cheaper to just piece out my own stage 3 kit.... i'll definately look into that over the weekend.

Save your money and build your own kit, and get your car dialed in with a custom hp tune rather than a mail order tune.

he doesnt have to have the 60# get a 2.8 and 42 skymynx has the 42s and the harnes for 125 and because if u want to go smaller u have to do cooling mods like dual pass , meth , and frount mount HE . not to mention is more likely to go boom.

ok i've made my decision, i'm going to build my own kit and get a custom hp tune

my goal is 300whp, right now i am at 225 with just a k&n cai & megan racing cat-back. i want to do a stage kit, header/downpipe & ported s/c before winter. i'm estimating my car to be at 250ish whp with just adding the header/downpipe & ported s/c.

do ya'll think a 2.8, 42s & 1 step colder plugs will get me there?

why does everyone cheap out on fuel mods? Get the 60's. They're not much more.

I agree.

Make sure you do your research before you do a 2.8 on 42s. Get the real numbers for the 42s, do some math and figure out your duty cycle. If you are really going for 300 whp, 42s won't do it anyway. Might as well get the 60s now. You can get them with a harness, flowmatched for $239 from new are performance.

Just my $.02
