CA stage 3 vs Intense Stage 3

I know it has probably been talked about many times but I can't find a thread on either of these. I'm looking to purchase one or the other.

Anyone have any information or thoughts on which one is better/faster/problems?

Dont see a CA (Cobalt-addiction) dyno run but see intenses.

I wouldn't go buying neither these kits unless they show a log file. I've seen 2.9" pulley hit 120% duty on 42lb's in cold weather.

There is also the TAG stage kits which both come with 60lb injectors.

TAG's price is right up there with those:

1. 2.86" Modular Pulley System (Colors: Red, Black, Silver, Gun Metal Gray)
2. 60 lb/hr injectors + harness
3. GM Stage 2 belt.
4. Set of four NGK BKR7E spark plugs.
5. TAG Stage 1 tune*

$550

That's because someone didn't let it know it was running larger injectors and instead just play with the MAF. It still thinks it had the stock ones in there, which would probably be running at that duty cycle under that kind of boost/airflow.

You want my personal opinion? Go with Intense. They will net you the most useable power and will do pretty much ANYTHING you ask in terms of playing with the PCM. I understand some people on here all have their own opinions about everything, but look at it this way:

Intense Stage 3 runs on average 255whp, which according to the last couple dynos I have seen from the LSJ nets you about 70whp more than stock while only on a 2.9" pulley. CA is running a 2.7" pulley, which is about 2-3 psi more and a lot faster inside the blower, while still only making about the same whp. Tell me which one makes more sense: Having more heat spitting out of your blower from the CA kit or having a longer lasting, much happier blower with the same power level from Intense?

Just make your own kit! You can buy the parts individually for less than $300, then spend the other $250 and have local shop dyno tune you

hey blown 4 bangers got a point. i have intense stage 4 while its a good kit and all im sure i could have saved money. also if you are looking at kits i would honestly go with tag they are making some great stuff. they will also retuen after you get some run logs on your car. or you can go all out and do the Tag twin screw swap like myself. oh and blown 4 banger nice little secret message in your sig i dont know what provoked me to highlight it but i did.

no, it was 2.9" on a stage tune with 42lb injectors. There was no tuning done of any sort.

As for what companys say about how much power they make...I've seen people make 260HP with a 2.85" pulley and some make 230HP with the exacty setup. As said before, different dyno's show different power.

All I can say is I will be running 12's with my TAG Stage 2, once I have my Bully clutch installed.

Here's the link to the TAG Stage kits:
