Is the CA throttle body spacer worth buying? My friend told me he put one on his truck and he noticed a huge difference and told me to get one for my car. Should I buy one or is it a waste of money?

im not to savy on these but from what ive been reading up on is that they increase air velocity. i wouldnt say its a complete waste of money but i would make sure i had all my other bolt ons before i got one of these

The TB spacer would be a worthy mod only if your car is N/A because it increases the velocity of the air coming into the engine. Having a supercharger -sucking- air into the intake means the velocity is already about as high as it can get until you swap out for a smaller pulley (which would be about as much as the TB spacer)

it's not to increase the velocity or anything like that. it will not help that at all. like other threads about this same topic, it's mainly for an easy tap for installing methanol injection or nitrous period. it wont help with anything else.

Exactly. Since he already has somthing increasing the velocity in his car it's pointless.

Its not going to really increase any performance use it if you want to spray meth, or n2o before the blower.

increasing the travel path of the air will increase low end power.
decreasing the length will increase top end.

these cars have enough low end with the m62.
