i have a zzp pcm in my car as we speak and i havent had one problem with it i called and told them the exact parts i have and they tuned it there three days later a new pcm arrived on my step plugged it in and bammmm it was a whole new animal plus you get the core charge back soooo if you dont have som1 locally like me try it the worst that will happen is the pcm is already unlocked and you can have som1 fine tune it

i didnt have any probs with my zzp, and it was way better than stage 2

just cause of this alone...

Speed limiter removed
Raised rev limiter to 7200
Altered fan turn on keeps the IC radiator cooler at all times
WOT fueling is revamped to provide a safe, flat air/fuel ratio at all RPMs
Works with high flow cats, 420 code removed
Torque abuse modes are modified to eliminate bog during WOT
12 PSI boost limit is removed
Timing revamped for increased power
MAF/MAP tables adjusted for running smaller pulleys
Idle hunting from installation of larger injectors improved

i had the zzp and it was an improvment over stage 2 and my car ran great except for my idle. i had my balt eventually dyno tuned and the zzp tune was not to great. my afr was like in low 11 and then at about 5500 rpm it was 10.0 very low it was running super rich. after the tune i got another 31 hp and way better gas milage. zzp, ca and other companies with canned tunes cover there asses by making them run rich just like stage 2 so you dont blow your motor. if you have access to get a dyno tune then that will always be better but if not canned is better than nothing i guess.

I had an Intense PCM and it would start showing up to 7-10* of knock in 4th gear for no reason. I put my stage 2 back in with no problems and sent the PCM back for a refund.

4th gear, barely giving it any gas and it was knocking slowly and constantly. not in any other gear, and not with the Stage 2 pcm.

Here's your choices:
zzp
ca
intense
RAW

All seem to have problems. I've never had problems with the canned gm stage tune but apparently there are some who have. But if you're under warranty I'd say go with the gm tune...at least they'll fix it...somewhat.
