CAI cleaning

So i have a AEM CAI, does anyone know how to clean these and how many Kms between cleanings?

I cleaned my intake when I cleaned my throttle body/sc inlet so about every 10-15k miles? Basically I just used the same tb cleaner and no codes. It will leave a residue however so if that's a no no for you then get something else.

It may actually help to have a catch can as well to keep it cleaner longer. Since I cleaned it (about 3k miles) I check and it's spotless now with the can and the tb cleaner.
