I would like to know this to. I have been to two dealerships and they have both told me there is no update for idle surge, just an update for Stage 1 and Stage 2 Kits. Does anybody know if there is new software for our cars. Thanks.

HP Tuners cost money. PCM updates through the dealership are under warranty. Do you know if there is a PCM update?

There is a total reprogram for our cars for the idle surge thing...I can get the Document ID number for you guys so you can show it to the dealership...it addresses the idle surge and the P0107 code that you get with an aftermarket intake. From my understanding there are other threads on this issue as well. So yeah if your dealer is saying there is not a reprogram there full of shi*.

Also I took my car to my girlfriends dad who is the lead Tech at a Saturn dealership, he was aware of this problem because a few redlines came in for it.

I unhooked the battery before disconecting the sensor from the stock air box and reconnected it after installing my Injen CAI and have yet to have a code.

mine showed right after i installed it. i pulled the battery cable for a little bit and haven't gotten it since.i installed stage two like three months ago so it better never show up now.

Yes there is a seperate reflash than the GM Stage kits for the P0171. I listed the number in my post up in this thread. Just ask for that number and see what they say.
