as far as purely performance, check out the howto on "airbox mod"
basically it involves a quality dropin filter, with some modification of the stock airbox.

and it will give you the same performance as a CAI.

but a CAI looks alot nicer, and will produce a louder sound from your blower.

Yes, parts from the 05-06 will also fit the 07. The 07 has a few cosmetic changes and a PCM change is all. Welcome to cobaltss.net, I bet the balt is a bit different than the hondas you're used to, eh?

Get one of those type R civics that will be uber rare....OR..Prelude Si (drool)...maybe even a Del Sol with an H22 in it?

Hondas get hate here, but thats cool that you're not an import pureist, and you can have cars from both ends. Major respect for having an open mind.

yeah i wanted to try something different. i had a 93 accord with an H22 and most recently a 91 civic with a turbo b18a1 that i parted out. My next project is most likely going to be a 90-93 accord with a k20 or k24 swap..we'll see though..you gotta pay to play lol.

RebelAutoWorks CAI is the best one currently. Stainless steel, 3.0" piping and perfect fit. A bit more expensive, but worth it.
