meth allows for cooler intake temps which create more power, higher octane which helps reduce knock and helps you tune more aggressively to make more power.

there aren't any real disadvantages.

The only disadvantage would be to run out of the water/meth while you were driving hard. If you are running an aggressive tune with water/meth and then run out you may pop something. Or atleast damage something that will end up costing you money later. You would just have to check and see how much your using and top it off every now and then.

I would personally mix my own instead od washer fluid. I've heard people using it but I don't like the idea of having something extra in the mix. My 2 cents. Methanol is not expensive.

 

use extreme blue washer fluid that is th -32 degrees mix.
